Woman Dies After Tree Falls On Camper Trailer In Kendall County During Severe Weather: Sheriff

YORKVILLE, IL — A woman died Saturday after a tree fell on a camper trailer at an RV resort during severe weather in Kendall County, officials said.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, the fatal weather-related incident took place at the RV resort, located on Millbrook Road in Fox Township, at about 3:12 p.m.

After arriving at the scene, deputies saw a camper trailer with a large tree on top of it, officials said.

The 47-year-old woman was the sole person inside the trailer when the tree fell, officials said.

She was located inside the trailer and was pronounced deceased at the scene, officials said.

Kendall County Sheriff’s detectives responded to the scene along with members of the Kendall County Coroner’s Office, officials said.

A joint investigation into the incident is currently ongoing; no additional information was immediately available.
