At approximately 3:04 PM on October 26, 2021, a Chevy Silverado struck a Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad train in the crossing at 5700 N 135th Street West. The Chevy Silverado was traveling north on 135th Street West and the train was traveling east on the center track.

 

The operator of the Chevy Silverado, Ana Hirai Guerrero-Dominguez (36) of Maize, died at the scene.
