Now, while the sunshine and 80-degree weather do return Friday, storm threats stick around through the weekend.

The latest round of storms comes just days after cleanup crews and electric utilities worked around the clock to restore power to tens of thousands of Marylanders.

Some of the areas hit hard by power outages in Maryland included Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties.

Dry conditions are expected today and Wednesday. A cold front will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms as early as overnight Wednesday into early Thursday.
