Navigating Difficult Conversations Forum at St. Anne's

St. Anne’s Episcopal Church’s Eastertide Adult Forum series begins at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, at the church's Parish Hall, 199 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, Md. All are welcome.

During this series, the Gospel of Matthew will be used as a guide for “navigating difficult conversations” about forgiveness, judgement, money and hope.

Maria Winters, a licensed clinical professional counselor, will refer to Matthew 18 to discuss forgiveness on April 19. Using Matthew 2:18 and 4:18 – 5:16, she will discuss hope on May 17.

On May 3, a group of St. Anne’s parishioners will explore the theme of  judgment by telling stories and using a Biblical reading from Matthew 7:1-5.

St. Anne’s rector, the Rev. Manoj Mathew Zacharia, Ph.D., will refer to Matthew 19:16-26 in a discussion about money on May 10.

The Eastertide Adult Forum series concludes on May 24. Colleen Cruikshank, a leadership coach and facilitator with the Constructive Dialogue Institute, references Matthew 27:11-26 in a discussion of religion and politics.
