The Pasadena case was traced to a home on the 800 block of 223rd Street, AACFD officials told local station WMAR2 News. The boy was found unresponsive in a private swimming pool.

In light of both cases, the AACFD is highlighting the importance of installing safety guards near residential pools and enrolling children in swimming lessons. "Keep a life ring, reach pole, and first aid kit on the pool deck," officials said in a release.
