Famed Boxer Wanted In MD For Violating Probation: Reports
The warrant is the latest in a long series of legal woes plaguing the Baltimore boxer.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Famed boxer Gervonta "Tank" Davis is wanted by authorities in Maryland after court records indicate he violated his probation when he was arrested for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend in a Miami strip club, according to reports.
A judge signed off on a warrant for Davis' arrest on April 24, ESPN reported, citing Baltimore County court records. While Davis' attorneys filed a motion to recall the warrant, the motion was denied on May 22, and the warrant remains active.
TMZ was first to report the news.

Davis was on probation for a November 2020 hit-and-run in Baltimore that injured four people, reports said. The violation stems from an October 2025 incident where his ex-girlfriend, Courtney Rossel, accused him of attacking her at a strip club in Miami, where she had been working as a VIP cocktail server.
Rossel filed a civil suit days after the incident, which forced Davis out of his November fight with Jake Paul, according to ESPN.

The warrant for his arrest is the latest in a long series of legal woes plaguing the boxing champion.
In June 2025, the mother of Davis' two children said Davis struck her on the back of the head during an argument in the Florida city of Doral. He was charged with misdemeanor battery, but the charge was later dropped, The Associated Press reported.
In January, he was arrested in Miami Gardens by a fugitive task force and charged with attempted kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery, according to AP. Police said the charges stemmed from an incident at a Miami Gardens business on Oct. 27, 2025.
“Gervonta Davis is actually a victim here, and I look forward to establishing that shocking narrative in court,” his attorney, Simon Steckel, told The Associated Press. “What has happened to Gervonta Davis in this case will transcend the initial charges against him and expose a level of criminality which will be talked about long after his charges are resolved.”
Davis is a Baltimore boxer who has won world titles in three weight classes and become one of boxing’s top pay-per-view attractions.
Davis turned pro in 2013 after a successful amateur career and won his first major title in 2017, stopping Jose Pedraza for the IBF junior lightweight championship. He later held titles at junior lightweight, lightweight and junior welterweight, recording wins over fighters including Leo Santa Cruz, Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia.
