Boyz II Men, Case To Headline Baltimore's Charm City Live Festival

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore's free Charm City Live music festival will return later this summer, marking the event's fifth year with performances by R&B groups Boyz II Men and Case.

Mayor Brandon Scott announced the lineup Tuesday for the annual end-of-summer festival, which also will feature DJ sets by Porkchop, DJ Tanz, DJ Keebee and Uncle E, along with local performers.

Charm City Live will be held Sept. 5 at War Memorial Plaza.

"Charm City Live is more than a concert — it's a celebration of Baltimore," said Linzy Jackson, director of the Mayor's Office of Arts, Culture and Entertainment. "It's an opportunity to showcase our artists, support our local businesses, connect residents with City resources, and create experiences that bring people together."

The free, one-day event includes food vendors, retail merchants, community organizations, city resources, a Kids Zone and a hiring fair connecting residents with Baltimore City government job opportunities.

Temporary road closures will be in effect around War Memorial Plaza during the festival. Drivers should expect closures along portions of Gay, Baltimore, Saratoga, Lexington and Fayette streets and are encouraged to plan for delays and use alternate routes. Additional traffic and parking information will be released closer to the event.

Charm City Live is presented by the Mayor's Office of Arts, Culture and Entertainment and is expected to draw thousands of residents and visitors downtown. Vendor applications for food, retail and community exhibitors remain open through the festival's website.
