54 Educators Nominated For 2026 Teacher Of The Year Award

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Fifty-four educators have been nominated for the 2026 Harford County Public Schools Teacher of the Year award.

The 54 nominees will be given the choice to move forward in the selection process where leaders will name the five finalists and ultimately the 2026 HCPS Teacher of the Year. The winner will be announced at the HCPS Celebration of Excellence in Education celebration on April 16 at Edgewood High School.

At that annual celebration, employees throughout HCPS are honored including education, administration, operations and transportation.
