Overnight Lane Closure To Impact Bel Air Drivers

BEL AIR, MD — Drivers should make note of a temporary overnight lane closure planned for Monday night into Tuesday morning.

The Harford County Department of Public Works will temporarily close the westbound lanes of Churchville Road (MD 22) in Bel Air to wrap up a roadway restoration project after a water main broke in the area recently.

Starting at 8 p.m. Monday, both westbound lanes of Churchville Road (MD 22) will be closed from the intersection of Moores Mill Road and Churchville Road (MD 22) to Thurlow Court.

The closure will remain in effect overnight, with the roadway anticipated to reopen Tuesday morning before the peak travel period, officials stated.

Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and allow for additional travel time.
