Patriotic Concert, Military Honors, Wreath-Laying Ceremony On Memorial Day

BEL AIR, MD — Observe Memorial Day 2026 in Bel Air at the 41st Annual Memorial Day ceremony hosted by the American Legion Post 39.

The event will feature patriotic music by the Bel Air Community Band, patriotic displays, a wreath-laying ceremony, military honors and more. Festivities will take place at Shamrock Park, located at Lee Way and McCormick Street, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

There also will be a Memorial Day observance in Havre de Grace hosted by the American Legion Post 47 and VFW Post 8126. The event starts at 9 a.m. with a Remembrance Service at Angel Hill Ceremony. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Tydings Park War Memorial. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. A lunch will be served at the Legion Hall and a potluck at the VFW starting at noon.

There will be a Memorial Day ceremony hosted by the American Legion Post 128 in Aberdeen. The event will start at 11 a.m. at 44 North Parke Street, Aberdeen.

There also will be a four-day celebration ending on Memorial Day at Hopkins Farm, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The festival includes live music, food trucks and anniversary beer releases. Hopkins Farm is located at 3833 Rider Lane.
