Road Closure To Run 10 Months For Bridge Repairs

Drivers should be aware of a 10-month-long road closure that takes effect Monday so crews can make bridge repairs.

FOREST HILL, MD — Drivers should plan ahead for the 10-month-long closure of a section of Boggs Road that starts Monday.

The stretch of road being closed runs between Grafton Shop Road and High Point Road. Crews will be replacing the bridge over Long Branch.

Emergency vehicles and school buses will not be allowed through the area during the road closure. Drivers who use this road should follow the posted detour signs or make other arrangements, the county stated.
