Vehicle Set On Fire, Suspect Sought
The MD Office of the State Fire Marshal asks for the public's help in identifying the suspect they believe deliberately set a car on fire.

ABERDEEN, MD — Investigators are searching for the person who they say dumped an ignitable liquid over a vehicle then set it on fire.
The incident happened Monday around 3:45 a.m. in a parking lot in front of the Perrywood Garden Apartments, located at 1410 Perrywood Dr. A passerby who lives at the apartment complex discovered the fire
Eight firefighters with the Aberdeen Fire Department were called to the parking lot where they found a car on fire. They spent around 5 minutes extinguishing the blaze, the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal stated.

According to the state fire marshal's office, the targeted vehicle was a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu. Investigators have estimated the vehicle's loss at $10,000.
An image has been captured of the suspect, which the state fire marshal's office has shared. Anyone with information is asked to call the Northeast Regional Office at 410-386-3050.
