$100K Scratch-Off Ticket Stuns Avid Lotto Player

A Prince George's woman couldn't believe her luck when her ticket shows it was worth $100K after scanning it at the store.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A retired government worker popped by the Weis Market in Accokeek to claim a $500 prize and discovered one of her scratch-off tickets was worth much more.

The woman enjoys playing scratch-offs daily at the Accokeek Weis Market. She scans her tickets as soon as she arrives at the store, but this time, she wasn't sure what the message on the screen meant.

She asked the customer service clerk to scan her Scratch & Match ticket and that's when they both realized she'd won $100,000.
