Catonsville Man Led Multimillion-Dollar Drug Conspiracy: Report
The 58-year-old man is accused of heading a $25 million drug trafficking operation, according to a report.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — George Robinson, a 58-year-old Catonsville man, is being accused of serving as the leader of a drug trafficking organization that handled tens of millions of dollars, according to a report.
Authorities were alerted to the drug conspiracy last November, when a truck pulled over by law enforcement officials on Interstate 70 was found to have over 80 kilograms of cocaine, The Banner reported.
Over the course of the following months, investigators pinpointed Robinson and found that "he was able to run a major drug-trafficking organization on a daily basis."
