145 Traffic Stops Made By Howard Co. Police In Weekend Initiative
Howard County police officers made 145 traffic stops, four of which were DUIs, over the weekend.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Nearly 150 traffic stops were made by Howard County Police over the weekend as part of a traffic enforcement initiative.
The police department conducted a Mothers Against Drunk Driving detail focused on the Route 40 corridor with assistance from the patrol division. They made 145 stops that resulted in 75 citations, 156 warnings, 23 safety equipment repair orders, six motor vehicle violations and four DUIs.
"Safety on county roads is a top priority for the Howard County Police Department," officials stated.
