Brunch, Taco Fans Are Getting 2 New Restaurants In Anne Arundel Co.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Two new restaurants are headed to the Gambrills-Crofton area, bringing along new options for brunch-goers and taco fans.

By the end of the month, the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre will be home to First Watch at 1403 South Main Chapel Way. Organizers officially announced this week that the location would be opening to the public on Aug. 31.

As previously reported by Patch, the brunch location is taking over the space that previously housed Red Robin for years.

The brunch spot will be open to customers daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., serving a mix of breakfast and lunch dishes. The new location will mark First Watch's third base in the county, after sites in Annapolis and Glen Burnie.

Less than five minutes away, at the Hopkins Place shopping center on 2299 Johns Hopkins Road, Taco a la Madre will open its very first location in Anne Arundel County.

Diners will find the taco eatery next to Mai Nails, in the former Pizza Hut space. An opening date for the restaurant has not yet been released.

Taco a la Madre has two other locations in Prince George's County, in Beltsville and College Park. Both operate Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Sunday, service runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
