Investigation Underway After Man Injured In Shooting: Police

One man was injured over the weekend after a shooting took place in Dundalk, Baltimore County police said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An investigation is underway after a man was injured in a shooting in Dundalk, police said.

A release issued by the Baltimore County Police Department stated officers were called to the 1800 block of Dunmere Road on Saturday at about 11:40 a.m.

At the scene, authorities found a 48-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. The man was later hospitalized.

Police did not detail the severity of the man's injuries.
