6 Kids Hospitalized After Car Leaves Road Near Dundalk High School: Police

Baltimore County police are responding to a pedestrian crash involving multiple juveniles near Delvale and Holabird avenues.

DUNDALK, MD — At least six juveniles were taken to area hospitals after a vehicle left the roadway and struck pedestrians near Dundalk High School on Friday afternoon, according to Baltimore County police.

The Baltimore County Fire Department said one person evaluated at the scene declined to be hospitalized.

The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. near Delvale and Holabird avenues, police said.

According to a preliminary investigation, the vehicle left the roadway before striking the pedestrians. All of the juveniles taken to hospitals suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to police.

Police have not said what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway or released additional information about the driver.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team are investigating.
