McDonald's Burglarized, Macy's Robbed In Howard County: Police

A McDonald's was burglarized, a Macy's was robbed and the Autostream Car Care Center also reported a burglary this past weekend, police say.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A robbery and two commercial burglaries were reported over the weekend, according to Howard County Police.

On Sunday around 7:35 p.m., police were called to the Macy's store located in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway for a report of a robbery. A store employee told police that he approached two men he suspected were stealing merchandise. One of the men threatened the employee, then both took off. No one was injured, according to police.

In the overnight hours Saturday into Sunday, the owner of the Autostream Car Care Center reported a burglary. Located in the 4700 block of Dorsey Hall Drive, the suspect gained access to the building by breaking a window. It's unclear if anything was stolen, the police department reported.

Also in the overnight hours Saturday into Sunday, someone broke into the storage area of the McDonald's located in the 9200 block of All Saints Road in Laurel and stole a power washer. The suspect gained access by breaking a lock, the police department noted.
