Sisters Launch Permanent Site For Mocktails, Mixers

SAVAGE, MD — A mocktail store will celebrate its grand opening Saturday at its brick and mortar location after enjoying success selling their bottled non-alcoholic booze online and at pop-up locations.

Launched by sisters Lexx and Livv Mills last year, Mocktique by Stursi offers non-alcoholic beverages and event center space and its new location at Savage Mill. Stursi, a 4x award-winning premium mocktail and mixer, replicates real craft cocktails, but without the alcohol.

According to the sister, when alcohol started causing Livv Mills health issues, the sisters "refused to settle for mediocre mocktails." Drawing upon Livv Mills' 10 years behind the bar, they created Stursi.

During the Saturday celebration, the first 50 patrons will receive a complimentary can of Stursi. Those guests who complete their passport and enter hourly prize drawings will have a chance to win a full tasting flight of all three award-winning Stursi flavors.

The grand opening runs from noon to 5 p.m. in the Old Weave Building, 8600 Foundry St., Savage.
