Two Charged In Armed Robbery Spree Targeting Business Owners Across 2 Counties
Howard County police said the pair targeted Baltimore-area business owners at their homes in Ellicott City and West Friendship.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two men have been arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies targeting business owners in Howard and Baltimore counties, police said.
Baltimore County police previously identified the suspects as Timothy Evans Jr., 28, and Diamante Gilliam, 29. Both are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
According to investigators, the pair is linked to five armed robberies in Baltimore County during June. The incidents occurred in:

- June 14: 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike
- June 15: 9400 block of Fitzharding Lane
- June 16: 6100 block of Deerbrook Road
- June 21: 5200 block of Baltimore National Pike
- June 23: 1600 block of Forest Park Avenue
On Wednesday, Howard County police said they also charged Evans and Gilliam in three armed robberies in June in which investigators say they targeted Baltimore-area business owners at their homes in Ellicott City and West Friendship. Police said one victim was targeted twice.
Baltimore County police credited coordination with Howard County police in the investigation that led to the arrests.
