Olney Man Accused Of Stealing Pizza From Montgomery County Eatery
Police said the incident occurred at a restaurant located in the 13000 block of Georgia Avenue.
OLNEY, MD — An Olney man is facing charges after police said he stole a pizza from a restaurant in Montgomery County.
Dean Steve Bodjona-Ali, 20, was charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft under $100 following the Oct. 8 incident at Papa John’s in the 13000 block of Georgia Avenue, Montgomery County police said in a release.
According to police, Bodjona-Ali entered the restaurant shortly after 10:30 p.m. and provided a false name to the cashier in an attempt to pick up an order placed by another customer.

When the employee refused to comply, police said Bodjona-Ali walked behind the counter and took a pizza. When the employee attempted to intervene, Bodjona-Ali struck the employee in the chest and ran out of the store, according to police.
Following an investigation, detectives identified Bodjona-Ali as the suspect and arrested him on Jan. 13.

Bodjona-Ali was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond pending a bond hearing.
