'Suspicious Circumstances': Police Want Public's Help After Glen Burnie Man Found Dead
The Anne Arundel County Police Department is calling for the public's help in a fatal hit-and-run with "suspicious circumstances."
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Authorities are calling for the public's help in an investigation tied to a possible hit-and-run that turned fatal.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said Thursday that first responders had been called to the unit block of Cedar Drive in Glen Burnie on Wednesday shortly after 9 p.m.
Officials had been dispatched for reports of a sick or injured individual.

At the scene, a 31-year-old man was pronounced dead by officials with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Police described the person as a pedestrian.
"Preliminary investigation indicates suspicious circumstances," reads a release issued by the police department. "The individual may have been struck by a vehicle that left the scene."

An investigation remains ongoing pending the results of an autopsy.
