Qualified candidates running for Mayor and City Council can file a Notice of Candidacy with the Director of Administration, City Hall, 711 Pennington Avenue, Havre de Grace, Maryland from Tuesday, March 1, 2022 to Tuesday, March 15, 2022 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Qualifications to run for Mayor are as follows:

- At least 25 years of age;
- Citizen of the United States for at least ten years preceding the election;
- A qualified City voter at the time of filing;
- A resident of Havre de Grace for at least two years preceding the election date.
Qualifications to run for City Council are as follows:
- At least 25 years of age;
- Citizen of the United States for at least ten years preceding the election;
- A qualified City voter at the time of filling;
- A resident of Havre de Grace for at least two years preceding the election date.
Filing Fee:
Mayor: $100.00
City Council: $50.00
