The Ch/Art (Chevy Chase Art) Fest - Sunday, April 26 - more than 25 local artists and an afternoon to celebrate creativity, community, music and the vibrant arts culture of our community.
The festival is run by the Ch/Art organization which also presents the popular Ch/Art Art Walk every fall. A diverse range of artwork will be displayed including painting, ceramics, textiles, photography, jewelry, and mixed media - offering visitors the chance to meet artists, learn about their creative processes, and purchase original work directly from makers.
In addition to the artists showcasing their work under tents, the event will include live music, food vendors, and a welcoming vibe that will let folks gather, connect, and enjoy the energy of Spring in the neighborhood.
“Events like this create space for artists and neighbors to connect,” said Erin Joshi, Ch/Art Board Chair, “The Ch/Art Fest is about celebrating creativity in all its forms and making art accessible within the community.”
The event is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to come by, meet the artists, enjoy local food, and spend time exploring the work on display.
