Middle River Woman Strikes Lottery Twice In 3 Months
A Baltimore Co. woman is $50,000 richer for a second time in three months after playing Maryland Lottery's Bonus Match 5 game.
PERRY HALL, MD — Luck struck twice for a Middle River woman who recently secured her second $50,000 winnings from the same vendor who sold her a winning ticket a few months back.
The woman, who was not publicly identified, said she studies past winning numbers and uses her intuition to guide her when deciding on a combination of numbers.
The game that was being played was the Bonus Match 5. Maryland Lottery said in a Thursday release that previous drawings "have no influence on what the numbers will be in any upcoming drawing."

The woman won her first $50,000 Bonus Match 5 prize in December and won for a second time on Feb. 15.

"I see things a lot of folks can’t see," she said. "You can’t win if you don’t play!"
The Middle River resident said she's used the winnings to help her family in addition to using a portion of the funds to pay down her mortgage.
Both winning tickets were purchased at Compass Beer Pump, located at 3 Compass Road in Middle River. Maryland Lottery awarded a $500 bonus to the station for selling each of the winning tickets.
