Police Identify Car In Fatal Hit-And-Run

The Baltimore County Police have identified a car tied to a fatal hit-and-run that happened on Friday.

OVERLEA, MD — A car tied to the fatal hit-and-run that happened last week was identified by investigators, police announced Monday.

In a release, the Baltimore County Police Department said that the driver of a 2014 Honda CRV struck a pedestrian and did not remain at the scene.

The incident happened in Overlea, near Belair Road and Prague Avenue, on Friday. Police responded to the scene at about 8:20 p.m.

At the scene, police found 69-year-old Landis Williams. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
