Brush Fire Destroys Mobile Home In Elkton
A brush fire Sunday destroyed an empty mobile home used for story on a property in Cecil County, the state fire marshal said.
ELKTON, MD — A brush fire Sunday destroyed a mobile home used for storage on a Cecil County property, according to the Maryland state fire marshal's office.
The Singerly Fire Company was called to fight the blaze in the vacant structure just after 12:30 p.m. at 1408 E. Old Philadelphia Road in Elkton.
The empty building was located at the rear of other occupied buildings on the property, authorities said. A resident reported the fire, which began in a nearby field.

No injuries were reported, and no financial value was listed for the destroyed mobile home.
Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 40 minutes.
