New MoCo Restaurant Opens Just In Time For National Taco Day
An eatery with Jersey Shore roots is expanding in Maryland, serving Mexican-inspired eats from a new location in Montgomery County.
OLNEY, MD — Fans of burritos, tacos, crunch stacks and quesadillas now have a new place in Montgomery County to fill their cravings for Mexican-inspired dishes.
Bubbakoo's Burritos opened its newest location Friday at 16822 Georgia Ave., serving customers from Olney's Roots Market.
As part of its opening celebration, the eatery is offering its first 50 customers who make qualifying purchases one free burrito per month for the next year.

The special is just the start of deals being offered to customers. Residents can also expect a $6 taco special as the restaurant participates in National Taco Day on Tuesday.
The Olney opening serves as the brand's first standalone restaurant in Montgomery County, marking an expansion from its food stall inside the Market Hall of the Clarksburg Premium Outlets.

"We’re eager to bring Bubbakoo’s bold flavors to Olney and introduce the community to a concept that stands out for its variety, creativity and ability to make every meal your own," Amarvir Brar, the local owner of Bubbakoo’s Burritos in Olney, said in a statement.
"This is a great location surrounded by families, shoppers and people traveling through the area, and we look forward to becoming a convenient go-to for the community."
Bubbakoo's Burritos will be operating out of the space that was previously expected to house Ramen Ya, a Japanese noodle and dumpling house.
Nationwide, the restaurant runs more than 140 locations across 17 states. In Maryland, Bubbakoo’s Burritos has 15 branches, including in Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford counties.
