Montgomery Co. Plays Host To Wing-Eating Competition This Weekend
In honor of National Fried Chicken Day, Bonchon Rockville will be hosting a wing-eating competition on Saturday.
ROCKVILLE, MD — The Bonchon Chicken restaurant chain will be hosting a wing-eating competition this weekend in Montgomery County.
The event will be held Saturday at the restaurant's Rockville location at 107 Gibbs St. While the event kicks off at 4 p.m., residents competing in the contest are asked to arrive by 3:30 p.m.
Individuals can register for the event through the eatery's online sign-up flyer, which stipulates the competition is only for amateurs 18 or older.

"The first competitor to clear their plate completely wins! If you're a quick wing eater, then this contest is for you," reads the notice.
The first-place winner will not only claim bragging rights, but also a $100 gift certificate and a t-shirt.

The competition is being held in honor of National Fried Chicken Day, which was officially held on July 6.
