TAKOMA PARK, MD — Two homes in the Takoma Park area sustained serious damage Friday after a large tree came crashing down. Pete Piringer, with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said the incident was reported around noon at the 7400 block of Birch Ave., between Philadelphia and Dogwood avenues. TAKOMA PARK, MD — Two homes in the Takoma Park area sustained serious damage Friday after a large tree came crashing down.

downtown Silver Spring. Beginning in the 1890s along Grace Church Road 
and expanding through the early 20th century, North Woodside offers a 
living gallery of local architecture from late Victorian homes to 
bungalows, Tudors, and Colonials to mid-century cottages. House tour 
booklets will highlight historical information about the featured homes

What You Will Do Location: Onsite, realistic mock-apartment setup in the Rockville, MD area. Duration: 1-hour private, 1-on-1 session with an onsite moderator. Activities: You and your dog will perform routine, everyday household activities guided by the moderator, such as walking room-to-room, playing, or searching for treats, while motion-tracking devices evaluate the environment. Participant Requirements To be eligible, you must be located in Rockville, MD or within a 1-hour drive of the area, and be willing to travel to the testing facility. You must own a well-socialized dog, be comfortable participating in light physical activity alongside your pet, and have availability on weekdays. The total payout is $150, which covers 1 hour of onsite testing and round-trip travel time (to and from the site). Note: This is an onsite project.
