Popular Bookstore To Open New Baltimore Co. Branch This November

TIMONIUM, MD — One of the most popular book retailers is eyeing a November opening for its newest branch in Baltimore County.

The Barnes & Noble bookseller will open its branch at 130 W. Ridgely Road, next to the Old Navy store in Timonium's Lutherville Station Shopping Center.

A separate Google listing specified a Nov. 4 opening, however, the date has not been confirmed by the bookseller.

Patch has reached out to Barnes & Noble for comment.

Barnes & Noble will be taking over the space that previously housed a Borders bookstore, which closed after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2011.

More recently, the furniture store RH Outlet was based at the location.

The Timonium opening will mark the book retailer's third store in the county, with plans to also open a new shop near the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
