BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Mark Jones Jr, a 31-year-old man from Rosedale, was found guilty of second-degree murder Tuesday for the fatal 2024 shooting that killed his son, according to The Banner. The shooting took place on Christmas Eve in 2024 after Jones got into a dispute with Promyss Marcelle, the mother of his two young children — four-year-old Jacobi and one-year-old Peyton. Both Marcelle and Peyton suffered injuries.
