Driver Fatally Shot Near Towson Circle: Police
A driver suffered life-threatening injuries Friday after a shooting was reported in the Towson Circle area.

TOWSON, MD — A man is dead after a shooting took place Friday in the Towson Circle area.
The Baltimore County Police Department said the shooting involved two drivers who were transiting the northbound lanes of York Road. The incident was reported shortly before 3:30 p.m.

Joy Lepola-Stewart, a spokesperson for the department, said at a press briefing that the man had been shot multiple times by another driver, and that he was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
Investigators are working to identify and locate the shooter tied to the incident.

Lepola-Stewart said road rage was a possible cause for the shooting, but that investigators were looking at other possible motives.
The public is urged to steer clear of the immediate area as road closures are in place amid the department's ongoing investigation.
