July 4th Towson Fireworks Rescheduled Over Vendor Issue

Organizers announced late Wednesday that the July 4th Towson Fireworks display will be rescheduled to Sunday, July 5.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The July 4th Towson Fireworks show has been rescheduled after organizers encountered a vendor issue, officials announced Wednesday.

The fireworks were originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, but will now take place Sunday.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Towson Fireworks display has been postponed," reads an announcement issued by the Towson Communities Alliance, which is sponsoring the event.

Phoebe Evans Letocha, president of the TCA, told Patch that the postponement was "due to an unforeseen issue" with the fireworks vendor.

The fireworks will still be held at the Loch Raven Technical Academy at 8101 Lasalle Road. The show will get underway just after 9 p.m., "when it's dark enough," according to organizers.
