WellTogether is excited to announce the launch of our new nonprofit and bringing our mobile health unit to Marian Fryer Town Plaza! 
Join us for a day of free community health screenings and resources
Tuesday July 7 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Marian Fryer Town Plaza 2424 Reedie Drive Wheaton, MD 20902 The mobile unit will offer free lab testing provided by Health Betterment Initiative including: Health screenings include:<ul><li>Diabetes screening</li><li>Cholesterol screening</li><li>Kidney and liver function testing</li><li>Primary care-level bloodwork</li><li>Rapid infectious disease testing</li></ul>
The event includes a health and resource fair with multiple community resources. This is a wonderful opportunity to take care of your health, connect with local resources, and help us celebrate the launch of WellTogether’s efforts to build a healthier, stronger community together.

It was the musical heat of The Hot Five, the first group where Louis Armstrong took the leader’s chair to record in 1925, that altered the course of jazz. Our presenter, jazz historian Ricky Riccardi was so taken by the Armstrong video he saw in 1995, when he was a teen, that it altered the course of his life, too. Ricky, best known for his deeply researched biographies of Armstrong, is the Director of Research Collections for the Armstrong House Museum in Queens, NY. His passion for all things Louis is evident.
As with all our jazz talks, you have to pre-register before 5:00 pm Eastern, the night of the program to receive the link. Our jazz talk series are always offered for free, but we appreciate any donation made at the time of registration to offset the cost of producing the program. Zoom link is emailed to you shortly before it begins.

Fireman's Field Complex, 250 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA, 20132

The annual Purcellville Wine and Food Festival returns on Saturday, July 18, in Dillon’s Woods at the historic Fireman’s Field Complex (250 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville). The festival will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., inviting guests to gather with family and friends for an afternoon and evening of local wine, beer, food, live music, art, and more.
This year’s event will showcase 40 vendors, including wineries, breweries, food and snack vendors, and local exhibitors. Enjoy live music performances by the Rick Reaves Band, The Darby Brothers, and the Franklin Park Big Band. The “Arts in the Garden” section, hosted by the Purcellville Arts Council, will highlight local artists who will create works of art live on-site. Additional activities include face painting and a photo stand-in booth. 
Early bird ticket pricing is available through 5 p.m. on July 17: 
• Early bird admission (ages 17 and over): $5 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink tickets (6 oz wine or 12 oz beer): $8.50 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink ticket package: 4 tickets for $32 (+ tax) 
• Early bird bottle of wine purchase: $35 (+ tax), available from participating wineries (bottles must be consumed on-site)
A souvenir glass will be provided with the purchase of the first drink ticket. Save time and money by purchasing your tickets in advance. 
The popular VIP experience returns for $275 (+ tax) and includes admission for six, a reserved table for six, three bottles of local wine, six souvenir glasses, six drink tickets, early entry to the festival, special commemorative gifts, and a selection of sweets and savories for the table.
