MA-based food company gets second chance

A vegetarian-centric, fast-food company announced some of its locations will remain open less than a week after saying it had to cease operations entirely.

Boston outdoor venue to rebrand with food and music

The Grove at The Lawn on D in South Boston will open to the public Friday. The new spot will offer food, drinks, live music, large screens and botanical design elements, according to the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and Rebel Restaurants.

Mass. chef named to James Beard list of 20 'Chefs To Watch'

Erin Miller of Urban Hearth in Cambridge has been named one of the James Beard Foundation’s 2026-27 TasteTwenty chefs, a national group of culinary professionals recognized as “ones to watch” in the independent restaurant industry.

Three Mass. pizzerias named among best in U.S.

Three Massachusetts pizzerias have landed on 50 Top Pizza’s 2026 ranking of the best pizza restaurants in the U.S.

Posto in Somerville ranked No. 35, Si Cara in Cambridge ranked No. 47 and Quattro in Boston ranked No. 49 on the 50 Top Pizza USA 2026 list, according to the ranking released by the international pizza guide.

Iconic international restaurant debuts in Mass.

LPM Restaurant & Bar, a French Riviera-inspired restaurant founded in London, is set to open on the second floor of the Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street in Back Bay, according to Four Seasons. The hotel lists the restaurant as “Opening Summer 2026,” while the Boston Business Journal reported the restaurant plans to open in September.

Three Worcester pizza shops earned high marks from Dave Portnoy

Dave Portnoy, the Barstool Sports founder behind the popular “One Bite” pizza review series, visited three Worcester pizza spots while in the city for Drake Maye’s celebrity softball event at Polar Park.

His first stop was Newton Square Pizza on Pleasant Street, which earned a 7.5 rating. He then headed to Pepe’s Italian Restaurant at 179 Shrewsbury St., where he gave a plain cheese pizza a 7.2, saying it was good but could have used “a little more sauce.”
