Popular chicken chain opening at this Boston train station
Chick-fil-A will open inside South Station, at 700 Atlantic Ave., in about four weeks. The location, which is now listed on its website, will open between the CVS Pharmacy and McDonald's on the train station's first level.

The eatery said it plans to open 12 to 15 more restaurants in Massachusetts through the end of 2027.
A Sweetgreen location is coming to The Shops at Blackstone Valley in Millbury. The eatery has 25 locations in Massachusetts, and this marks its first in Worcester County.
The restaurant will be located at 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, Suite 710, in Millbury, according to the company's website.
Major pizza chain closing hundreds of locations
Papa John's is planning to close hundreds of locations and lay off a portion of its corporate workforce as the company aims to cut costs and improve restaurant profitability, according to reports.
Approximately 300 underperforming locations will close by the end of 2027, with 200 closing by the end of this year, according to reports by National Restaurant News and CNN Business. The company did not provide a specific list of locations to be closed.
A popular Burlington eatery announced its opening of a second location in South Boston.
Common Craft will open at the base of the South Standard apartments building, at 85 Damrell St. The restaurant, led by culinary director and 2019 James Beard Award winner Tony Messina, is slated to open in mid-March.
