Expect the tiny flyers to arrive in the Bay State in the first half of May, according to AccuWeather.
"Hummingbird fans rejoice!" AccuWeather said in a social media post. "The ruby-throated hummingbirds are on their way back to the eastern US after spending the winter in Mexico and South America."

Some of the ruby-throated hummingbirds will be merely passing through Massachusetts on their way farther north as they migrate all the way to Canada.
In the fall, the ruby-throated hummingbird embarks on its epic journey back south, heading for Mexico and beyond.
