Organic grocer making its way to New England
Sprouts Farmers Market is charting a significant expansion into southern New England. The grocer plans to open 30 to 40 stores in the region, according to the Boston Business Journal.

Sprouts is slated to open its first Massachusetts store in Weymouth in 2028.
Johnnie-O will open at Derby Street Shops in Hingham in summer 2026, bringing the premium apparel brand’s casual and golf-inspired clothing to the South Shore.
The new store will carry a curated selection of men’s, women’s and boys’ apparel, along with footwear and accessories from Johnnie-O’s Top Shelf, Club and Coffee Run collections.
The North Face is coming to the North Shore
North Shore shoppers will see a new national retailer arrive at MarketStreet Lynnfield this week, with The North Face set to open on Friday.
The North Face, founded in 1966, is known for outdoor apparel, footwear, and gear designed for hiking, trail running, skiing, camping, and everyday use.
Mike's Pastry, the longtime North End bakery known for its cannoli, cookies and other Italian desserts, will open a new location in Terminal C at Boston Logan International Airport later this year, according to MarketPlace Development and Massport.
The new shop will offer signature Mike's Pastry items along with travel-ready selections, including filled-to-order cannoli in multiple flavors, cheesecake slices, lobster tails and a full espresso bar.
Three Mass. pizzerias named among best in U.S.
Three Massachusetts pizzerias have landed on 50 Top Pizza’s 2026 ranking of the best pizza restaurants in the U.S.
Posto in Somerville ranked No. 35, Si Cara in Cambridge ranked No. 47 and Quattro in Boston ranked No. 49 on the 50 Top Pizza USA 2026 list, according to the ranking released by the international pizza guide.
