Thanksgiving Travel Weather In MA: What The Farmers' Almanac Says
Check out what the weather may be like for holiday travel.
Planning on traveling this Thanksgiving weekend?
While the Farmers' Almanac said snow is possible in parts of the Northeast, Atlantic Corridor, Appalachians, Lower Lakes, Upper Midwest, and Alaska during Thanksgiving week, its Thanksgiving map is showing mild conditions with a chance of rain for most of New England.
If you're thinking of heading to the Midwest for the holiday, you might want to think again, as the "region leans colder and more winterlike, with scattered snow showers or flurries possible," according to the Farmers' Almanac.

"While a blockbuster storm is not currently indicated, some brief travel slowdowns could develop where snow showers pop up," the Farmers' Almanac says.
Snowbirds looking to travel south should have no problem, as the Mid-Atlantic's mostly favorable weather turns "generally mild and pleasant" along the way, "with a good chance of dry weather and plenty of sunshine for parades, football, backyard gatherings, and road trips."
