“Wow, the Roasted Garlic Pie was elite. I'm still salivating from it. I've never been a white pizza type person, but this one was outta this world,” one customer wrote in a recent Google review. I ate the whole thing. Roasted Garlic, bacon, Mozzarella?! Chef’s kiss.
The business makes a point to respond to a large majority of customer feedback online.

47. Si Cara, 425 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. The pizza bar headquartered at 425 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge is known for its Canotto-style pie, which features a puffy crust. Chef Michael Lombardi opened the spot in 2022 in dedication to his grandmother. This January, a second Si Cara spot opened in South Boston.
“This place is decidedly our favorite pizza in Cambridge. The vibe is cozy and the music is a perfect volume vibe. The meatballs have a lovely smoked mozzarella and are tender as can be,” one customer wrote in a recent Google review. “If you’re a crust lover, this pizza is for you, fluffy tangy and the perfect chew. What really stands out to me is the flavor combinations.”
49. Quattro, 264 Hanover St., Boston. The establishment has been a fixture in Boston's North End since 2013, when restaurateur Frank DePasquale transformed the former Il Panino Express into a full-service restaurant. Much like its two peers on the list, it specializes in Italian Neapolitan-style pizza.
“Simply the best pizza in town. As an Italian living in Boston since 2024, I’m grateful for this pizzeria who makes me feel at home when I’m home sick,” one customer wrote in a recent Google review. “Fresh ingredients from Italy. The dough is perfectly made and not heavy. Very authentic.”
The list ranked Una Pizza Napoletana in New York City as the No. 1 pizzeria in the country. Pizzeria Sei in Los Angeles and Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco tied at No. 2, followed by Razza in Jersey City, New Jersey, at No. 3 and Truly Pizza in Dana Point, California, at No. 4.
The 50 Top Pizza guides are based on the reports of anonymous inspectors who evaluate the best pizza restaurants in the U.S. and around the world.
Rankings are based on the pizzeria as a whole — not just the pizza or the chef. Inspectors consider the quality and digestibility of the pizza, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, how the wait is handled, and the wine, beer and beverage program.
