Worker Killed In Steamroller Incident In Bedford, Police Say

An investigation is underway.

BEDFORD, MA — A worker was killed in an accident involving a steamroller in Bedford on Monday, according to police.

Police were called to a Maiden Lane home at 10:54 a.m. on a report of a person injured by a steamroller.

The worker, a 67-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital and later declared dead.

The name of the worker and the construction company are not being released at this time, police said.

The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was notified and responded to the scene of the incident.
