5 Arrested After Fight In Dorchester Courthouse: Reports

The brawl in the Boston courthouse was caught on video, outlets reported.

BOSTON, MA — Five were arrested after a brawl in a Boston courthouse, according to reports.

"Newly released video obtained by the Herald through a public records request shows Monday’s 'brawl' at Dorchester District Court, where court officers pounced on the combatants to quickly break up the fight," the Boston Herald reported.

"Video shows punches being thrown as an unsuspecting man on a bench runs to get out of danger," a WHDH story said. "Another angle shows a man in a black hood lunging toward another man while he was not looking. Court officers ran in, trying to break up the fight as it spilled down the hallway, and tackled the man who threw the first punch."

"The five suspects were then moved to the courthouse holding area, according to Boston Police," WCVB reported. "That's when officers say one suspect kicked another while handcuffed, before attempting to spit on him."

The spitter missed and hit an officer instead, the WCVB story said.
