Beloved Grocer Opening Smaller Format Store In Boston
The company said a lease has been signed, but it's not yet clear when the store will open.
BOSTON, MA — A beloved grocer is coming to Boston’s Seaport.
Whole Foods announced Monday that it will open its smaller-format store concept, Whole Foods Market Daily Shop, at 111 Harbor Way.
The company announced plans to expand its smaller stores in the coming years, with a lease signed in Boston and additional leases in Chicago and Philadelphia.

“Daily Shop is an important part of how we’re growing our physical store presence,” said Christina Minardi, Vice President of Real Estate and Store Development at Whole Foods Market and Amazon. “As we expand this smaller format into new cities, we’re continuing to deliver the same high standards and carefully curated assortment Whole Foods Market is known for, in a way that meets our customers’ everyday needs.”
The store will sell an assortment of Whole Foods Market favorites, including its produce, meat and seafood, prepared foods, bakery items and a selection of 365 by Whole Foods Market products.

Whole Foods Market first launched the Daily Shop concept in New York City in 2024.
Whole Foods said it will announce opening dates at a later time.
