Boston Fine-Dining Restaurant To Close After Less Than A Year
The business said that it had "no choice but to close our doors."
BOSTON, MA — A Beacon Hill restaurant that opened less than a year ago in one of Boston’s best-known dining rooms has closed.
Nine, the fine-dining restaurant at 9 Park Street Place, announced its closure in a social media post on Monday, saying no additional funding would be available and that it had “no choice but to close our doors.” The restaurant also said it was unable to draw the consistent guest traffic needed to continue operating.
The restaurant was located at 9 Park Street Place in Beacon Hill, according to its website. The address was previously home to No. 9 Park, Barbara Lynch's restaurant, which closed in 2024.

Nine said the closure came after what it described as momentum from a recent Boston Globe review and positive guest feedback.
“We are incredibly proud of what we built together and deeply grateful for every memory created within these walls,” the restaurant said in the statement.
