An all-new complimentary series of art, creativity, and conversation
WHAT: This summer, Five-Star Mandarin Oriental, Boston invites you to step into The Lobby Atelier Series — a thoughtfully curated creative gathering hosted in the lobby on select Thursdays throughout July and August. Designed for both beginners and experienced artists alike, each session will feature a different artistic medium in a relaxed, come-and-go setting led by local artist and designer Maria DeVito Palmer. Guests are invited to explore watercolor, illustration, mixed media, and more while enjoying an inspiring afternoon of creativity and connection in the heart of Back Bay.
Local New Englander Maria DeVito Palmer, founder of Festa Studio, is a self-taught artist and designer known for her vibrant use of color, uplifting compositions, and joyful approach to everyday subjects. Through watercolor, acrylics, stationery, custom commissions, and collaborative works, her art serves as a celebration of place, people, and meaningful moments. Participation is complimentary and open to both hotel guests and the public, with all art supplies provided.
