South Station Expansion

The new Chick-fil-A location comes amid some expansion at South Station. The train station, which serves subway, bus, and Commuter Rail Lines, has undergone construction to expand its bus terminal, build a parking garage, and construct a mixed-use tower.

South Station Tower also made its debut as Boston's newest skyscraper last Fall, CBS Boston reported. The building, which is 51 stories tall, cost 1.5 billion to complete. Inside, there are more than 150 condos and almost two dozen floors of offices, according to the news outlet.
