Massive $10 Million Lottery Prize Sold In MA
The $10 million lottery prize was sold at a Stop & Shop store in the Bay State.
BOSTON, MA — One lucky winner purchased a massive lottery prize in Massachusetts last week.
A $10 million lottery prize was sold at Stop & Shop at 545 Freeport St in Dorchester on Friday. The prize was won from the Massachusetts State Lottery's "$10,000,000 Instant Millions" scratch-off game.
This is the first $10 million prize won from the game. To win, a player must match any of their numbers to any of the winning numbers, with additional prizes available by scratching off a money bag symbol.

There is still one $10 million prize remaining. The odds of winning a prize that large from this game are 1 in more than 5 million.
The state lottery commission did not share who won the prize, but the retailer that sells a winning ticket typically receives a bonus from the Lottery.
