New Outdoor Dining Venue Opens For Summer In Boston
Just steps away from Fenway Park, Sam Adams Upper Deck will be open throughout the summer.

BOSTON, MA — A new outdoor dining and cocktail space has opened at Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square as Boston heads into the height of summer sports and concert season.
The Sam Adams Upper Deck, sponsored by Samuel Adams, is located at Hotel Commonwealth, 500 Commonwealth Ave., near Fenway Park. The outdoor venue has lounge seating, cafe-style tables, a bar, large-screen TVs, fire pits, overhead bistro lights, and a capacity of up to 100 guests for private events.
The space will be open throughout the summer, beginning this month. Announced dates include June 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and July 1, with openings at 3 p.m. Live DJs are scheduled for June 19, 26, and 27 from 5 to 9 p.m.

The venue is also opening as FIFA World Cup matches are being played in the region. Boston Stadium in Foxborough is hosting seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including a quarterfinal.
Food, Drinks And Fenway Events
The food menu from Hotel Commonwealth Executive Chef Kevin Bowdidge includes Sam Adams Lager Glazed Buffalo Wings, Boston Lager Battered Fish & Chips, a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Sam Adams reduction, pretzel bites with Sam Adams-infused cheese sauce, a Wagyu chili dog and Sam Adams spiced chocolate chip cookies.

From 3 to 6 p.m., guests who order a bucket of Sam Adams beers can receive a dozen Sam Adams Lager Glazed Buffalo Wings for free, according to the announcement.
The space will serve summer Sam Adams beers and lagers, Sam Seasonal on draft and cocktails.
Fenway Park’s summer concert schedule includes Mumford & Sons on June 22, RÜFÜS DU SOL on June 23, Tim McGraw on July 30, Phish on July 31 and Aug. 1, Zac Brown Band on Aug. 2 and Chris Stapleton on Aug. 14 and 15, according to the Boston Red Sox concert schedule. The announcement notes guests at the Upper Deck may be able to hear music from nearby Fenway Park concerts, though performers will not be visible from the venue.
